NoveList Training

Jean,
Since I can't seem to find an on-line class that fits my schedule (time wise) you suggested going into the NoveList sight and doing my training directly from there. Yesterday I did just that.
I started by reading the "Quick Start Guide to NoveList". From there I went to "About NoveList" and learned how it all began. I then wandered into "Tips for searching in NoveList". I learned how to put in an author and get Read-A-Likes and how to search for series by the authors name. (really cool!)
I also watched the short clips "Tour NoveList" and "Search for a series in NoveList".
All in all I spent a couple of hours playing around in this site. I feel like I learned alot.
Is there anything further you would like me to do with this? Please let me know if this is sufficient or if I need to do something further.
Thanks!
Susan

Web 2.0 award winner

I chose Health, and under that peertrainer. This site is for people who want to lose weight, get in shape, stay in shape, etc. It focuses on daily "ideas" to help you focus and move forward with your goals. They also have numerous small groups of like minded people you can join....or start your own group. I didn't see any for maintaining withing my middle age group. (maybe I'll have to start one).
This site rated 2nd under health. It's VERY easy to navigate, has really relative information, lot's of social aspects if you desire, it's easy to use and has excellent quality to it.
I'm sure I'll be going back into this site just to look around and see more of what they have to offer me personally. I don't see it as being a really relavant site to the library except that it offers LOTS on information if someone came in looking and we didn't have a book with the info. they're looking for.
