Internet Safety in a 2.0 world

I thought the article Frontline put out on PBS was excellent. They raised some good questions and thoughts. Kids these days ARE computer savey. BUT, they are also kids, not always with alot of common sense. Being able to create a "whole new person" that "isn't me at all" can be a ego trip that could ulitmately ruin a child or young adult.
Even if kids are extremely literate when it comes to technology I still feel that adults need to watch out for them.
Myspace had some good reminders for keeping safe....but again, some kids are going to go for the "risk" factor to get some excitement. I don't know that there is any easy answer, or any answer period. But this isn't something that is going to go away. For every problem solved probably 2-3 more are going to pop up. It's going to be an ongoing process.
